You set up your phone

Create your account, add medications and the day’s plan, and record a few answers in your own voice.

The tablet joins with one code

Enter a one time code on their iPad. Your parent never needs an email, a password, or any setup of their own.

Set it up where they’ll see it

The board stays on and shows the day in giant text. They just talk to it, and you stay in the loop from your phone.

We built it first for our own family, when cognitive decline made everyday things hard for someone we love. What our family needed most was simple: reminders, medication schedules, and a little help getting through the day. So that is what we built.

That size is the point. When you send us feedback it goes to our phones, and the person who writes you back is the same person who will fix the problem. We know the people using Compasse are somebody’s mom or dad. We treat them that way.

FAQ

What do I need to run Compasse?

An iPad from 2017 or newer for your parent, and an iPhone for you. The iPad sitting in a drawer somewhere is probably perfect. A simple stand helps, and it should stay plugged in.

Does my parent need to learn anything?

No. The board is always on and they just talk to it. There are no passwords or menus on their side. Setup on their iPad is a one time code that you enter yourself.

Is this a medical device? Can it call 911?

No. Compasse is a comfort and communication tool, not a medical or emergency device. It must never be relied on for emergencies. Always keep your existing emergency plans in place.

What about privacy? Is it always listening?

Conversations happen only when your parent talks to Cassi, and your recordings stay private to your family. Our privacy policy is written in plain English and covers all of it.

What does it cost?

During our family trial, Compasse is free. At launch it will be a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime. Trial families will keep a lower founding family price.

Can more than one family member use it?

Right now each family has one caregiver phone connected. Support for siblings and other family members is on the way.

What if it doesn’t work for us?

Tell us. There’s a Send Feedback button right on your dashboard and one of us answers it. If Compasse isn’t a fit, we’ll help you close out and delete your family’s data completely.
